My Story

Why I Started ParentingAll

I’m Kashmala — an Australian mum of three with over 10 years of hands-on parenting experience. My children have taught me more than any book ever could, but books matter too. That’s where ParentingAll began.

One night, after a particularly rough day with my kids, I went looking for real answers online. What I found was either buried in academic journals I couldn’t understand, or feel-good posts with no practical substance. Nobody was writing for the real, exhausted parent at the kitchen table at 7pm.

So I became that writer. I started ParentingAll to be the resource I always needed — honest, research-backed, and written with warmth rather than judgment. Based here in Australia and raising three children of my own, every article I write is grounded in lived experience as much as research.

“My three kids are my greatest teachers. They’ve shown me that no parenting style is perfect — but an informed, loving parent is the most powerful thing a child can have.”

— Kashmala Tariq

Today ParentingAll is read by families across Australia, South Asia, and the English-speaking world. Every article is researched from peer-reviewed sources and written to be genuinely useful — not just reassuring.

What I Stand For

My Values as a Writer & a Mum

These four values guide every word I write — as a founder and as a mum of three.

🔬

Evidence-Based

Every article is grounded in peer-reviewed research — not trends, opinions, or viral tips from social media.

💚

No Judgment

Every loving parent is doing their best. No shame, no comparisons, no “you’re doing it wrong” — ever.

🛡️

Honest Always

When I use affiliate links I say so. When I’m uncertain I say so. Honesty is more valuable than appearing perfect.

🌏

Australian & Global

Written from Australia for families worldwide — inclusive, diverse, and respectful of every family’s unique context.

My Mission

To make parenting
less lonely and more confident.

ParentingAll exists because every parent — whether you’re raising children in Sydney, Lahore, or London — deserves access to honest, science-backed guidance delivered with warmth. I am not here to tell you the one right way to parent. I am here to give you the information to find your own.
